07/15/2010 - East Rutherford, NJ (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The New Jersey Nets signed 2010 first- round draft picks Derrick Favors and Damion James on Thursday.

The Nets selected Favors with the third overall pick after the 6-foot-10, 246- pound forward averaged 12.4 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 36 games for Georgia Tech during his only collegiate season.

James, the 24th overall selection, played four seasons at the University of Texas and set Big 12 Conference records for rebounds (1,318) and double- doubles (55). As a senior last season, the 6-foot-7, 225-pounder averaged 18.0 points and 10.3 rebounds in 34 games.
